I have Adobe Flash Player 11.7 installed on my computer and my wifes. I am getting requests for Adobe Flash Player to be uploaded. I have uploaded and uninstalled to try and fix this problem three times. This is not only interfering with my use of the computer but it is also annoying. Also today I was asked to update the Flash Player and install. When I did this my computer went beserk with add ons which I had to completely wipe them out of my computer to get it working. What the heck is going on?

Can't watch video and play games that require flash player

I'm using windows7 family premium version

internet explorer 10 last version 10.0.5

exploitation system 64 bytes

flash player verson 11..700.202 the latest one

So as i say can't watch video and play games that require flash player, they keep asking me to install flashplayer... i did everything i read in the forums, unistall it, clean the memory, reinstall it, disabe active x etc... but still have the problem.

More specific about my problem is that: let's say that i'm trying to look at you tutorial video under thi forum  Re: How do I fix Windows permission problems with Flash Player? i'm just seeing a black screen.  So I'm able to guess where is the play button so when i push on that place, i can hear the sound of that video.  Second step guessing where is the  enlarge  button, and when the screen is enlarged, magic i can see and hear the video.... So you figure that it's impossible to use my computer like that and guess right all the time, so....

Second fact, it seems that bug happened after an update (windows or explorer) and i even talk with a microsott tech who was not able to resolve it... But if i'm  undoning  the update and go back to a prior image, i have no problems with flash player anymore... it' been moths that i'm delaying my updates cause i cannot find any solutions.... So Please please please, help me .... don't know what's the problem is and i'm not a pro, don't know what to do.  (Excuse my english it's my second language)

Thank you

Recieve 0x8002801C error when manually registering Flash OCX

There is a computer in the office that constantly has issues installing Flash Player. The latest version (11,7,xxxxx) seems to be having some really difficult issues.

The basic background that I have on this machine is that it was purchased with Windows 7 Home Premium and upgraded to Windows 7 Pro (64-bit). There seems to always be some kind of odd permissions issues - the main user of the machine is in the administrators group and all IT work is done within the local administrator account, however with certain things the IT department constantly receives issues about permissions.

I have uninstalled Flash, cleaned the registry of unnecessary files, ran the reset_fp11.bat with the SubInAcl.exe. I have also checked numerous registry keys (information obtained from different forums) and all permissions were either (A) not set or (B) set to not allow administrator access.

I have also used Microsoft's Process Monitor (ProcMon) to see if I can come up with any answers there...but all that I can tell is that the file c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll is "locked".

At this point when I run the CMD shell as administrator and attempt to manually register the OCX, I receive the error code 0x8002801C.

I have approached MS Forums with this and no one seems to be able to help...since this does this with every Flash update - I wanted to pose this issue to Adobe as well.

Any ideas???

When I look at the %WINDIR%\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall.log

2013-5-22+16-46-0.218 [error] 1223 1056

I tried to read a bit about the Adobe Flash Player Background Updater, and IIUIC it checks for a new version,

and if there is none, it will wait 24 hours before checking again. So - about those 25-hour intervals.. maybe

- it waits 1 hour, checks, then waits 24 hours, checks, then writes an [error] 1223 1056 entry in the log,

then again waits 1 hour, checks, then waits 24 hours, checks, then writes an [error] 1223 1056 entry in the log, etc etc.

Sometimes there are a 50-hour interval (e.g. between 2013-5-17+11-46-0.218 and 2013-5-19+13-46-0.218)

Why no entry at 2013-5-18+12-46-0.218..? My pc was on at that time.

Other times there are 75-hour intervals - and some, although very rare, are intervals

that are not a multiple of 25.

Also, it seems that there is another error code; [error] 1226 1062 - that often appears, like 1 minute after the update process has actually started, e.g.

My FlashInstall.log dates back to version 10.1.85.3 at 2010-10-11+00-43-40.917,

and these errors first started to appear between versions 11.2.202.228 and 11.2.202.233..:

Flash Download File will not open - Multiple tries

Hello Folks,

I've searched this site high and low and haven't found a solution to my problem.

Trying to Download the newest version of Flash. My Vista(64bit) system shows it as a "File" that's 2,089KB in the downloads list.

If I click on the file as if to load/run it there is a prompt asking if I want to open this file type shows

Name: "install_flashplayer11x32ax_gtbp_chra_aih_exe" Publisher:"Adobe Sysytems Incorporated" Type:"unknown file type" in the message/prompt

When I click the Open Tab it directs to the Windows "Open With" screen asking which program I'd like to open the file with. Initially it showed Adobe Reader 9. something-or-other and when using it it would give an error that the file wasn't supported so I uninstalled all Adobe programs with the intention of trying to do a clean install of all my Adobe products. I'm getting stumped though on how to fix this. Youtube is broken and boredom and frusteration are creeping in.

Please help!

As I've said before, I've tried all the searches I can think of but haven't found the solution I need. Maybe I'm missing it but I've verified scripts are enabled in Explorer and tried searching the c:\Windows\sysWOW64 and there wasn't anything there - empty...

Thanks!

Jordan
